“Fairest of the Fair”
MONDAY, AUGUST 23th, 2010
7:30 P.M.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. Each contestant must be a resident of Fentress County for 6 months
or a full time student.
2. Each contestant must have reached her 16th birthday, but not her
21st birthday before December 31st, of this year..
3. A contestant cannot qualify if she has ever been married or had a
child, or been found guilty of a felony.
4. Costumes must be formal and must be floor length, no exposed midrift,
no flowers worn or carried during pageant.
5. Contestant will be judged on beauty 75%, poise and personality 25%.
6. The winner of previous years in state or county will not be eligible to
compete this year or succeeding years.
7. A Contestant may not represent more than one fair in any given year.
8. Only one chaperone per contestant will be allowed.
Chaperone must be at least 25 years of age.
9. The winner will be given an all-expense paid trip to Nashville
in January to compete in the statewide contest for the title of
“Tennessee Fairest of the Fair”.
10. The winner must attend all convention activities, including
post pageant activities.
11. Contestant ONLY behind the stage.
12. Tea and interview will be
Sunday August 22, 2010 at 2pm at Progressive Savings Bank,
parent or chaperone welcome at tea. (2 People)
13. Suit or Sunday dress for interview.
14. Practice will be Sunday August 22, 2010 at 8pm at Fentress
County Fair Grounds.
15. Entry forms may be obtained from a committee member, picked
up at Progressive Savings Bank or on line at
www.fentresscountyfair.com
16. Score sheets are the property of
Fentress County Fair Association and will
NOT be available to contestants or parents.
17. Deadline for entry forms are Friday August 20, 2010
at 5 pm, no exceptions.
18. The Contestant must be currently and always has
been of the female gender.
19. Contestant who marries before fulfilling her duties
will be required to relinquish the crown to the first runner-up.
20. Scholarship will be awarded with evidence of
enrollment/or class schedule.
